Takafumi OHBA
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1988. Graduated from the Japanese Painting (Nihonga) course, Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Arts, Hiroshima City University in 2013, and withdrew from the Doctoral Program at the same university after completing coursework in 2018.
Major solo exhibitions include “Daily Scenes” (Cafe and Gallery Kaneya – K gallery, Shimane, 2022), “Episodes: Recalled and Reconstructed” (LE METTE GALLERY, Hiroshima, 2024), and “Co-Memory Errors” (S_R gallery, Tokyo, 2025).
Selected group exhibitions include “Emerging Artists Selection Exhibition FAUSS” (3331 Arts Chiyoda, Tokyo, 2018), “re” (biscuit gallery, Tokyo, 2022), and “ACT (Artists Contemporary TOKAS) Vol. 6 ‘Layers of Optical Experience’” (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, Tokyo, 2024).
